| Allen Gill a 54 year old social worker. Allen has a full time practice out of Edwards hospital. He has possibly the largest herniated disc I have ever seen and I have seen thousands. Before he came to us his back problems were getting worse. He had tried Physical therapy and injections the only option he was left with was surgery. He wasn’t too sure about getting the surgery so he thought he was going to live with it…But herniated discs that size are too painful to live with. They tend to put a lot of pressure on the spinal cord and spinal nerves.
It got to the point where Allen was no longer able to enjoy his vacations. He then decided he had to do something. He came in to our clinic looking for some relief. He underwent 20 treatments and was feeling much better. A second MRI was performed and he was about 80 percent better. He has continued now for 39 treatments and states all pain in the legs and back are completely gone. He can finally take that vacation he has been putting off. |
Dr Jeff Winternheimer saved another one from surgery!

| Pre Treatment Clara suffered with severe pain every day and night. She had a very large herniated disc at L5. She was unable to walk without her walker and was not getting any sleep. She went through 35 treatments at the Illinois back institute and at the completion of her therapy she was 100% better. She now sleeps through the night and no longer need her walker. | ||
| The first 2 MRIs number 1 and number 2 above were taken in August of 2008. You can see at the L5 disc she has a very large herniation that extends into the spinal canal. This disc was compromising both the spinal cord and the spinal nerves. As a result everything she did was painful even sleeping. The third MRI Below was taken after 35 treatments, as you can see and according to the medical radiologist there was no evidence of a herniation at that time. |

| Fay Eppolito, a 59 year old U.S. postal worker, developed herniated a disc at work over 10 years ago.Fay came to see us in November of 2007, she had a very large herniated disc (4mm x 16 mm) in her low back at L5. She was having intense pain down her leg and having a very hard time walking. On a scale of 1-10 her pain was at an 8 (bad). The top picture is an MRI taken the first day of her treatment. November 27 2007.She received thirty three dynamic disc stabilization treatments in our clinic, over a period of 3 months. At the end of her care she no longer had pain in her low back or down her leg. She was also able to walk and work pain free. Upon completion of her 33rd treatment she had a 2nd MRI. This MRI is pictured below. The 4mm x 16mm herniated disc at L5 was completely eliminated after her treatments. Also noted in the 2nd MRI was an 80% increase in the hydration of the nucleus of the L5 disc. True healing has taken place. Surgery was avoided. The second MRI was performed in March of 2008. She had a 3 MRI in November 2008 exactly one year after the 1st MRI. I am happy to report that her disc still shows no indication of a herniated disc at L5. Her condition had improved and to this day remains stable and healthy.Dr Jeff Winternheimer Dr. Jeff Winternheimer D.C. Director of Clinics |
